Chinese Track

The Chinese Track, at German International School

Preschool and kindergarten students in the Chinese track learn through song, dance, stories, arts and crafts, special projects, and free play, developing the educational, emotional, and social foundation to succeed in upper grades. Our small class sizes and welcoming environment help young learners acclimate to Chinese immersion and cultivate a lifelong love of learning and exploring.

In Kindergarten students are also gaining more skills to ensure success in the more academic-focused Grade 1 curriculum, including early language and math.

Previous Chinese language experience is not required to enroll in this track for Preschool or Kindergarten.

The program for upper grades engages and challenges students with a rigorous Mandarin curriculum, building on the strong foundation developed in the lower grades.

Our grade 1-5 curriculum recognizes students as active learners, providing experiences that engage their curiosity about the world around them. Teachers serve as guides and collaborators, helping students discover their interests through specialized projects and course themes.

All our students develop and maintain fluency in both Mandarin and English languages.
