Parent Engagement Group

The Parent Engagement Group is our community’s way to make sure families feel connected and engaged at GIS. 

 PEG members:

• Will be chosen/elected at Fall Parent Nights. 
• Attend monthly  meetings and share information to and from their classroom parents relevant to the broader school community. 
• This group will focus on community engagement and social events for GIS.
• Coordinate with the classroom teacher to assist in the classroom, and organizing volunteers to assist in the classroom, based on the needs of each individual teacher. 
• May volunteer for leadership roles in the PEG. 

 All parents are welcome to attend PEG meetings which are on the second Tuesday of each month from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
