Mike Krasser

Originally from Austria, I lived in Montreal, Canada, for six years before moving to the USA in 2011. I hold a Master’s degree in Organization Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management. Before starting my general contracting business in 2023, I worked in audit and risk management at Nike in Beaverton and in procurement as well as industrial construction project Management at IBM in Canada. My wife Claire and I have two children who are currently at GIS. We chose GIS because we appreciate the strong community aspect and to pass on our Austrian/German heritage to our children. I have been an active volunteer at GIS for years and have served on the building committee since 2019. It has been a delight to see GIS grow and expand over the years, and I am looking forward to supporting the school and community through my involvement on the board and the building committee.
