Matching Gifts

There are many local employers that have matching gift programs where they will match (and sometimes double!) their employees charitable gift to GIS.

Nike and Intel also give GIS a cash donation matching your volunteer hours, and your employer might too! Please check with your employer's HR department.

These programs are an excellent way to make your donations and your volunteering stretch even further. Please contact us if you need help determining how to benefit GIS through matching gift programs.

Planned Giving

In addition to the annual fund, planned gifts ensure the long-term financial health of GIS Portland. This type of Giving can also have significant tax benefits.

We encourage you to check with your financial advisor about gifts of appreciated stock that can be directed to GIS, a nonprofit independent school.
