Shurong Tu

During my schooling there were many teachers who helped and moved me by their unconditional caring and love, which inspired me to become a teacher. I was born in southeastern China and received my bachelor and master’s degrees at Nanchang Hangkong University.

After several years teaching in Nanchang, I came to the US as an international student in 2012 and received my master’s degree in Education. I’ve taught in both early childhood and elementary settings in the Portland area since 2014, most recently at Northwest Chinese Academy.
